Borrower Environmental and Social Framework refers to host country policy, legal, and institutional frameworks relevant to the identification and management of project environmental and social risks. This framework of applicable requirements and performance standards comprises national, subnational, or sectoral implementing institutions and applicable laws, regulations, rules and procedures and implementation capacity.
